Steady custody
No decisions needed. Within controlled levels of risk, the company has Barclays or Goldman Sachs (Singapore) invest it steadily for you, aiming to give you a reliable return on top of your salary.
Our people
How far a company goes depends on how steadily each of its people can walk. So we built two things into how we are run, not just how we talk: sharing in what the company achieves, and — when you need it most — a group of people entirely on your side, answerable to no one else.
Benefits and care
What insurance covers, insurance pays; what it does not, the company picks up. None of this is small print on a benefits list — every colleague can use it directly.
Mid-to-high-end global medical cover with AIA, from your first day.
Respect for every sincerely held faith.
As you welcome a new life, you and your family are not on your own.
When something happens at home, the company stands up.
Cover, territories and waiting periods for the medical insurance are as set out in the AIA policy. Support beyond the policy, compassionate payments, legal help and loans are arranged case by case by the wellbeing committee and the Towards the Light Wellbeing Foundation.
Towards the Light Wellbeing Foundation
Each year, once the group has met its goals and covered its costs and wellbeing spending, what remains goes into the foundation — to help colleagues through the unexpected: financial help, health and medical care, counselling, and hard times at home. Many colleagues also give, every year or whenever they can, and the group matches every gift one for one.
About the foundationEach other’s strength
Many say “treat the company as your family”; few ever turn it round. We would rather start by treating colleagues as ours.
When a new project is at its busiest, colleagues have never counted the cost; in return the group has kept every promise, with dividends, wellbeing and a foundation behind each of them. What we value is not who works longest, but that we can all go the distance together.
Read our storyWellbeing committee
It might be a sudden upheaval, or something that has troubled you for a long time and is hard to put into words. You might disagree with a decision the company has made, or have been treated unfairly at work. Whatever it is, the wellbeing committee will listen properly and act properly.
The committee belongs to no office or department. No manager can sway its judgement or interfere with how a case is handled.
Every case is given a neutral member with no stake in you or the matter — no assumptions, only the facts.
What you tell us is seen by the committee alone. Not even system administrators or office heads can open it, and it is encrypted in our database.
We acknowledge and assign a member within 2 working days, and give you a first formal answer within 10. Complex cases get regular updates and a realistic timeline.
Facing sudden financial hardship, the committee can draw on the Towards the Light Wellbeing Foundation or arrange support from the company.
Help arranging care and adjusting your work, and support through time you need to recover.
Professional, confidential counselling, paid for by the company.
Disagree with the company or one of its decisions? We take your view, fully and faithfully, to the people with the power to decide.
We investigate unfair treatment independently; where it is borne out, we take a formal complaint straight to the company’s decision-makers and follow it through.
Your case is not dropped once we have replied. It stays open until you are satisfied.
Use the form below or speak to any committee member. All we need is your staff number and an email we can reach you on.
We confirm we have it and assign a neutral member with no stake in you or the matter.
Your member works through it with you, investigates independently where needed, and arranges help straight away.
You get a first formal answer. If you are not satisfied, the case continues — up to the company’s decision-makers if needed.
“Choosing to speak up is the greatest trust you can place in us. We will deserve it — with independence, fairness and confidentiality.”
Equal employment opportunity

What matters to us is what you can do, what you want to do, and what you and this team can become together.
Throughout recruitment and everyday work, we provide reasonable support (sometimes called accommodations) to colleagues and candidates who need it, including:
Accessible interviews and workplaces, assistive tools and flexible arrangements.
Schedules that fit treatment and appointments, and remote or flexible work when needed.
Confidential support and counselling, and adjustments to pace and workload when needed.
Respect for religious holidays, prayer times and dietary requirements.
Adjusted interview formats and communication, quiet spaces to work, and clearer instructions.
Time for appointments, rest breaks and adjusted duties, and support before and after leave.
Respect for your name and pronouns, protection of your privacy, and zero tolerance for discrimination or harassment.
Candidates can tell us what support they need on the application form; colleagues can ask the wellbeing committee through the form below. What you share is used only to arrange support and never affects decisions on hiring, reviews or promotion.
Every life has its rainy seasons. Don’t stand in the rain alone, and don’t stay stuck in the past — tell us, and we’ll wait for the rain to stop with you.
